Holly is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has obtained her Perinatal Mental Health Certification.  Holly serves as an owner and the Executive Director of Gathered & Wise, and is able to provide clinical supervision for Clinical Social Worker Associates, as well as Professional Counselor Associates and Marriage and Family Associates.

Holly obtained her Master of Social Work degree from Portland State in 2011. Holly has been in private practice since 2014 and started specializing in perinatal mental health in 2016.  She is an active member of Postpartum Support International and founded Gathered & Wise in 2021 in response to the huge unmet need for experienced maternal mental health providers.

 Holly uses a blend of different therapeutic techniques, including person-centered and narrative therapy, interpersonal therapy, and motivational interviewing techniques. She is trained in EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing, and is able to offer this effective, evidence based trauma treatment. Holly is also a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional, and is comfortable discussing and working through issues related to sexual intimacy.  In addition to perinatal issues, Holly often works with clients who have experienced grief and loss, high achieving perfectionist clients, clients who are in a life stage transition, and parents of children with special needs.  Her ideal client is one that is capable of insight and self reflection, and enjoys verbal processing with concepts woven into the session organically. Holly approaches her clinical work with a feminist and strengths based lens, and provides warmth, humor, and compassion, paired with intentional and kind challenging when needed. 

Holly's client caseload is limited due to the need to balance executive duties, and she only sees clients in the morning and early afternoon at this time.  In her free time, Holly enjoys reading, decorating, being outside, spending time with close friends and family, playing with her two sons, and traveling to new places.
